K-MOVIE Review: Killer Toon

Killer Toon is about a series of deaths which looked like suicide, but is eerily similar to a horror webtoon. A detective puts the writer as a suspect and tries to find out who is causing these deaths.

I have mixed feelings regarding this movie itself. The first half of the movie was great. It was creepy and for a moment I was confused to as to what genre does this movie really belong to. However, the ending of the movie doesn’t really do the first half justice. It was not as good as I thought it should be. In a simple way, the conclusion was rather weak. It’s acceptable, but weak in compared to the strong first half.

Nonetheless, it’s still a movie you can check out if you have a strong heart. Anyone can watch the 2nd half of the movie, but the first half of the movie is not for the faint-hearted. I was kind of creep out myself as I watched it in my own room, with the lights off and in the middle of the night. I had to turn the lights on to continue watching. HAHAHA. Yes, I don’t have a strong heart.

Overall, it was pretty interesting and I do liked it, just that I thought the way we reached the conclusion was weak and could have been done better to deliver a strong message.
