Sleeping Witch, is the 4th Episode of MBC Drama Festival staring Park Seo Joon and Hwang Woo Seul Hye, about Ah Mi (Hwang Woo Seul Hye) who wakes up from 16 years of coma after a lap explosion 16 years ago when she was still a student.
Ah Mi wakes up after 16 years and does’t remember how the accident occurred. She tries to find out about her then-boyfriend, but her friends around her, tells her that they know of no such person. Him Chan (Park Seo Joon) who is always around Ah Mi (Ah Mi doesn’t know him personally), offers to help her look for her boyfriend. Him Chan is suspicious of Ah Mi’s friends, and Ah Mi who trusted them starts to grow suspicious as well, and she also finds Him Chan suspicious.
I’m not going to do a recap for this drama, because there isn’t much to write about. The mystery wasn’t that interesting, and I don’t really care what happened back then, or where is her boyfriend. However, it was worth watching for the cute between Him Chan and Ah Mi.
And yes, I watched this because of Park Seo Joon 🙂 Hahaha! I’m watching the MBC Drama Festival episodes with all the cute guys inside.
Basically, I find that the drama doesn’t really have a strong conflict or hook – or whatever you call it, to grab my full attention, but like I’ve mentioned in my previous post, we can’t expect too much from just 1-hour drama. It was worth my one hour though, thanks to the cute exchanges between Him Chan and Ah Mi.
I’ll just add some screencaps of the cute pairing 🙂
She explains what kind of a person her boyfriend was, and how he confessed to her, and went all fangirling mode, and Him Chan stares at her in disbelief, and is grossed out. He asks her if she had made up her boyfriend out of her own imagination and wonders if such cheesy guys do exist in reality. Hahah.
