Finally, Jin Goo expresses his feelings towards Se Young, though through a kiss – instead of words, which is never a good thing. A lot more questions going through my head, and Jin Goo-Se Young and Kwang Soo-Da In continues to be my favorite characters right now.
I totally forget that Da In is Se Young’s sister – and I only realized it during their phone call. I hope their relationship will not be a cause for angst in later episodes. There shouldn’t be any particular reason, right?
I wonder who is in Se Young’s heart – because it seems that she does have someone, but we have no idea who it is. There was also something going on between her and Jin Goo in the past, and I AM SO CURIOUS. What happened between them in the past which makes both of them hesitant towards each other???
I wonder how was Kwang Soo in the past? The Kwang Soo of the present seems like someone who is passive, and just takes whatever which comes by. Did Da In have a situation which Kwang Soo never did paid attention to? There must be a reason why she left him, and it doesn’t seem like she didn’t love him.
Kwang Soo seems like he wants to talk to her more, maybe he really thinks she is his second chance, or maybe he’s genuinely curious about how she has been – but Da In doesn’t seem like she wants to get involved with him again, and she treats him like a stranger.
Kwang Soo have a lot to do if he wants her back, or if he wants to know the reason why she left him in the first place.
Min Goo finally approaches Soo Ah, by grabbing her wrist in the middle of the pedestrian crossing. If I was Soo Ah, I would probably think he is crazy. Seems like we can at least get some interactions between them. Yay. I was kind of bored with the whole ‘chasing’ thing.
I do hope for more depth and story for Min Goo’s character – because so far, they’ve only showed us how he is just smitten with her and calls her his destiny. Of course, I want to see more of his love for Judo and actually working to get that medal to enter college.
Da In was speaking over the phone to Se Young – asking who she hoped would appear, and Se Young answered that Da In knew the answer. WHAT??? WE DON’T KNOW! Da In went on to say that it must be awkward. WHAT IS AWKWARD???
Could Se Young possible like Jin Goo too? Or could she really like Jae Bum? However what is stopping her from accepting Jae Bum’s feelings? Either she is afraid of something, or she has someone else in her heart. We didn’t get to see what she said to Jae Bum, while they were out – but perhaps, maybe, she told him that she had someone else in her heart???
Anyway, they continue taking pictures – because the best picture at the best spot wins them a whiskey and premium beef.
It started to rain all of a sudden, and they quickly ran to find a shelter.
He deserved that slap. Hah. However, things have come out in the open, and there’s no more denying his feelings for Se Young. He was already planning to confess to her, because he finds that he has to do it as soon as possible, as both Se Young and Jae Bum are precious to him, but he lost the initial timing – and instead of confessing through words, he kissed her – which will probably be taken the wrong way by Se Young.
I fully understand why Se Young is pissed. From her stand, she has always regarded Jin Goo as a flirt – despite being best friends. This could means two things. She can never trust him as a man, even though they can be best friends, or she likes him but is afraid that he is just playing with her. But still, whatever it is – kissing anyone like that, deserves a slap, unless of course… well…other special reasons.
That’s why I am really curious about Se Young’s heart – who is in there, and what exactly happened in the past between her and Jin Goo, which caused Jin Goo to be hesitant in confessing to her in the first place, besides being afraid of growing apart.
Anyway, with this kiss – it definitely changes their relationship, and it’s up to Jin Goo to work hard to make her trust him enough as a man, and his sincere feelings. However, how much of their friendship will change, and what will happen to Jae Bum…? Jin Goo has crossed the line, and will they grow further apart, or will they grow closer? Or will they pretend nothing happened?
Okay – I’m pretty much alright with everything, expect that both Min Goo and Soo Ah are acted out by idols – and I have to admit that I would always pay extra special attention to their acting since… well, they’re new. Sung Jae is alright so far, though his character kind of annoy me at times. Nothing significant – just small issues. Or maybe I just haven’t warm up to him yet. I don’t know, can’t put a finger on the problem – but sometimes it just feels awkward watching his character?
Soo Ah hasn’t appeared in her own scene and spoken any dialogues yet so nothing to comment there.
I do hope that their characters don’t turn out so bland and have a little bit more depth to it, so that it doesn’t get overshadowed by the other relationships.
That’s all 🙂
