POV DISCUSSION: Kill Me Heal Me Episode 3

Alright, sorry for being overly excited. I don’t usually get excited over actors who get cast in another drama together, but I really love Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum. There’s just a certain chemistry between them which makes it so enjoyable to see them on-screen, and I’ll never get sick seeing them together.

Anyway, it was yet another enjoyable episode and finally Cha Do Hyun and Ri Jin introduce themselves, and in the most awesome way possible.

Not doing recaps for this. I’ll just post some screencaps, and do discussions a bit here and there.

I’m not going to go into details on what happened in the episode, and I’m just going to talk about certain parts of the episode.

So Perry Park came with his bombs – but…. it didn’t work. He ended up getting beaten and tied up together with Ri Jin.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h01m30s23vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h01m14s117“January 7th, 2015 at 10pm on the dot” Ri Jin speaks to Do Hyun. He looks at her curious and ask what day is that. She answered the exact thing which Se Gi said to her. “The time I fell for you.” Do Hyun is taken aback and said that it’s not the right time to say such things.

“That’s what you told me.” Ri Jin says, and she said everything which Se Gi said to her, much to Do Hyun’s surprise.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h07m26s249vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h07m27s8Anyway, they barely make it out of the warehouse alive, as Perry Park’s bomb worked after all. Before Ri Jin faints, she mumbles asking him to save her before saying out, “I did wrong..”

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h09m42s76vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h09m46s121At the hospital, Ri Jin is still not fully conscious. We see Do Hyun apologizing that she had to met him and he hoped that she won’t be unfortunate to meet him again.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h16m15s164vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h17m35s195But of course, his grandmother isn’t happy and slaps him. She screams at him that he won’t be able to do such thing if he knows how much his dad did for him.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h22m46s233vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h22m38s162Ri Jin talks about Do Hyun to Ri On, and asks him what if a person is living many different identities, just like he is, but it is something that they can’t choose. She says that it must be very lonely and difficult. Ri On looks on – and we sense that he might be a little jealous.

She mentioned that he said something about if he crossed the line with her, it means it’s not him. She asks if he had ever crossed the line with her, and tells him that she wants him to try crossing over the line. Do Hyun says that he’s not someone she can handle, before walking away.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h31m08s141vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h31m10s160Ri Jin is Professor Suk’s student, and she talks to him about Do Hyun’s condition since she is aware that he had treated a similar patient overseas before. (However, both are unaware they are actually referring to the same person) Ri Jin says that she had seen 3 personalities and one of them calls himself Shin Se Gi, which caught his attention.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h31m22s23Do Hyun finds out from SecretaryAhn that Ri Jin is not a patient, but a doctor. He assumes that Se Gi approached her with hidden intentions.

He sees the medical officers pulling her back in.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h37m01s83vlcsnap-2015-01-15-23h37m05s119And both of them standing there awkwardly…. “So…you’re really a doctor.” Do Hyun says.

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-01h20m09s86Then what’s your name? Ri Jin asks. By chance…do you have bombs on you? And she continue asking, before asking again, so who are you? What’s your name?

vlcsnap-2015-01-15-01h20m31s50vlcsnap-2015-01-15-01h21m08s156“With this face, and these eyes, I’m Cha Do Hyun.” And they smiled at each other 🙂

I love all the moments of Ri Jin with Do Hyun in this episode, and sadly we didn’t see much of Perry Park yet. So, Do Hyun’s dad is actually alive – but I still don’t get all the mystery surrounding the company and the whole successor thing. We should know more in later episodes, I guess.

A few mysterious things have pop up though.

Ri Jin mumbled, “I did wrong” when she was not fully conscious. I’m wondering if she had a bad childhood experience, and by any chance if she and Do Hyun actually knew each other when they were kids. Shin Se Gi mentioned that she called for him, a long time back. I don’t know… but it seems like there is a possibility.

I’m pretty sure we are all curious about Do Hyun’s childhood, and who was the person who abused him and made him the way he is now.

Oh – and we know that Ri Jin and Ri On aren’t real twins, but I’m not sure if the characters know. We get a feeling that Ri On likes Ri Jin, probably more than just a sibling – I’m just wondering if he knows they are not real siblings.

Anyway, we get a deeper look into Do Hyun’s life, and it’s actually pretty sad that he doesn’t have much control on his own life, or much say – and he apologizes to people he met, who unfortunately get hurt by him or his other selves. It must be very hard for him to even make friends, or be close with anyone.

Okay – that’s about it. Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum are blowing me away with their chemistry and URGHHH I just love seeing them together. 🙂

  1. I’ve been replayed the final scene countless times! The ambience was so great, and it delivered right to the heart, Omo!

Hm, as for Chae Yun has declaring war…asking for crossing the line, I think we can predict she definitely will like Se Gi if she meet him. This can’t be good. Can I call her the sly fox? She is engaged to Ki Joon, right? What the hell is she doing, toying with Do Hyun feeling? (She might think she’s so hot, LOL)

Perry Park was funny. I hope we can meet him again later. I thought he can fight, but he can’t, LOL. Too bad his bomb was taking too much time to explode.

I’m glad Ri On can settle the problem smoothly, and I enjoy their good relationship. Somehow, I wonder what kind of bad things happened to Ri Jin. When I heard she said “I did wrong..’ I thought it resembled what Do Hyun said later, it kind of confusing. It did make Do Hyun startled to. And also her monologue on the bike, is it kind of resembling what Se Gi said?

As for the last scene, I think Do Hyun really opened up a lot to Ri Jin. Both smiling face…Omo. I remember someone said, is the production team has a thing with people with dimple? LOL look at all casts, how their smile looks alike.

    1. I think Chae Yun would probably be surprised when Se Gi comes out, because he’s like the exact opposite of the quiet and good Do Hyun. And yup, I guess her interest in him would increase, especially more so, when Se Gi is so in love with Ri Jin.

YESSSS PERRY PARK CAN’T FIGHT xDDDD He’s like the clumsy, talkative ahjusshi type. So fun to see him, and hope to see more of him~

Oh and yup the scene where we hear a voiceover of Ri Jin when she was half conscious, “What’s you name. Let’s stay like this, Let’s Play.”

I wonder if they really had meet each other when they were young, and if she was the one who said it to Se Gi first. Se Gi is like ‘keeping’ the memories of both Ri Jin and Do Hyun’s past.

AHAHAHA AND REALLY? Maybe the production team really like their smiles xDDD Anyway how glad can we be that Ji Sung picked this drama after 2 actors drop it.

      1. I can’t imagine other actor to play this role. It really fit Ji Sung, And I am so so so happy he take this project. I can’t depend on Secret only to see him, LOL. Moreover, it took an experienced actor to take this 7 personalities. If Seung Gi didn’t drop this, I don’t think I’ll be watching (it’s not like I dislike him or what–but the plot can turn into a hot mess if being mishandle).

Actually I wonder what trigger Perry Park to surface. He said he want freedom, right? This is really what Do Hyun want…deeeeep in his heart LOLOL I think. But then, what kind of situation he can be called? other than not-so-hard beating by Secretary Ahn hehe

        1. Hmmm…. true, I’m not sure either what makes Perry Park comes out that one time. It wasn’t exactly a “freedom” moment, and the only reason Se Gi didn’t come probably bcoz the hit was too soft. Hahahaha.

And yup Perry Park wants freedom, and I guess that reflects what Do Hyun wants too, deep down, as he doesn’t have any right or say in his life.

Maybe we’ll get more clues when he appears again ^^
