I love this drama. Well cast, good story, amazing chemistry and it’s not stingy with the kisses. AHAHAHAHAHA.
Anyway, the latest episodes of Kill Me Heal Me is probably the best so far, and it just keeps getting better. There are lots of clues being dropped in these two episodes, but these same clues make me confuse yet again. But that’s part of the fun 🙂
Every time I watch a KMHM episode, I am reminded at how it was rejected by two initial male actor before Ji Sung decided to pick it up. I am so thankful for this because I can’t imagine anyone else who is able to do this role as good as Ji Sung, and I think everyone would agree. It seems as though Ji Sung and KMHM is match-made in heaven. AHAHAHA. Okay, I’m exaggerating.
As usual, not doing recaps – dramabeans are doing recaps for KMHM so can check the website out. Not much screencaps either, but I have plenty to discuss about 🙂
THOUGHTS & DISCUSSION
First of all, let’s talk about Cha Do Hyun and the people around him. His mother seems to know that he has nightmares and she mentioned that Do Hyun must not remember ‘the child’.
And of course – this child is either Ri Jin or Ri On. In my opinion, I think it’s Ri Jin. Why? The bear. The picture of the Bear, and the fact that Se Gi offered Ri Jin a bear. And the personality is named Nana.
Talking about this… could the personality Yo Sub and Yo Na…. be somehow related to Do Hyun-Ri On, or Do Hyun-Ri Jin? I mean… the personality are twins….. and if there really is a twin in is drama….. hmmmm.
Don’t you guys think she dislikes Do Hyun? Is it because he is Shin Hwa Ran’s child? Or because he ’caused’ her son to be in a coma?
Ri On’s story title:
Twin-switched up Murder Case
The Child In The Basement
TWIN SWITCH UP MURDER CASE??? I know this is crazy, but what if… Ri Jin is Shin Hwa Ran’s real child? And Do Hyun is just an ordinary guy? And Ri On is the dead Min Seo Yun’s child?
What if Shin Hwa Ran wanted her child to be the successor of the company, but since Ri Jin is a girl, she got Do Hyun from somewhere and made him her son. However, her real child lives in the same house. Is that too imaginative? Hahahha.
I can’t think of a reason why Shin Hwa Ran doesn’t want Do Hyun to remember ‘that child’. But one thing I think I can be sure of, is that ‘that child’ and Min Seo Yun’s child is not the same person. So Ri Jin and Ri On will each be either one.
All three of them are afraid of basement. According to Ri On’s story, “A black shadow appears…oh??” It means that the person is someone he knows, probably he knows well. Even during one of his flashback scene, he put down his hands after realizing who is standing in front of him. I know this is weird, but could it be his secretary? No right?
Oh! And Ri On mentions that he overheard the parents talking, about being adopted and he started researching about the guy in that family who is of a similar age to him. He also mentions that he is aware of why he is afraid of basement, but Ri Jin still doesn’t remember, so he is finding her memories in her stead.
This could mean so many things. What if Ri On is searching for the truth for Ri Jin, since she can’t remember? And how much does Ri On knows?
Okay – enough for the speculating theories. Hahahaha.
I really like how Do Hyun and Ri Jin’s relationship progresses. From being accidentally tangled up together, to slowly becoming friends. It’s not like the usual two characters who “fell in love” after numerous encounters, but you can really feel the ‘heart’ in it.
Do Hyun always kept his emotion in check, not revealing his true self – but he is slowly warming up to Ri Jin, and without realizing he is slowly changing and learning to express himself, instead of bottling up his feelings. Of course, you have to give Ri Jin credit for that because she is persistent, and she says what’s on her mind. Some sort like the kind who you will put down your guard with.
As Do Hyun slowly expresses himself, it’s hard for Ri Jin to differentiate Do Hyun and Se Gi – because as we can see, they are alike at times. And of course, it’s not surprising since they are literally the same person. And most likely in the end, Do Hyun will have all these personalities as a part of him, though it probably won’t ‘come out’ anymore as a different identity.
Do Hyun was probably touched and swept away by Ri Jin at that moment. And when he looked at Ri Jin and said that he is Cha Do Hyun is like telling her, yes I’m Do Hyun and I am the one kissing you right now. It’s like as though telling her indirectly that it is not someone else, but him, himself, who wants to kiss her.
And the fact that he ignored Se Gi’s warning despite remembering it, means that he has already fallen for her – of course I don’t think he knows it himself. He probably thinks he got swept up and was just touched, right? Okay – I don’t know. We have to wait and see.
There is just so many different theories running through my head, and it’s driving me nuts, in a good way.
Ji Sung should totally win an acting award for this, but too bad drama is in early January and since drama awards are at the end of the year. Usually drama which airs later in the year always gets more advantage.
So far, I love how the plot slowly unfolds itself, and the mystery slowly revealed to us, through Ri On’s story. It’s unique in a way, and interesting.
Ji Sung and Hwang Jung Eum scenes are really awesome, always – and I love every single scene with them. Even though we all know how awesome Ji Sung is in portraying the different characters, we have to give credit to Hwang Jung Eum as well. She’s been great with her facial expressions – and even those scenes where she screams, or make weird funny faces – it just suits the theme of the drama and it’s really nice to see 🙂
I’m like hoping every single day that drama doesn’t mess up in the second half, or all these mystery will turn into something crazy or stupid (*coughs siblings cough*) because it’s just so awesome right now, and I want it to stay that way till the very end.
Okay – that’s all for these two episodes 🙂
