[REVIEW] A Girl & Three Sweethearts (Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto)

vlcsnap-2017-01-17-00h11m58s121I found a gem! I was randomly browsing looking for something to watch and somehow I decided to watch Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto (A Girl & Three Sweethearts) and it was a great decision!

I loved the drama so much ❤ There’s 10 episodes and I finished it in 2 days. I would have probably finished it in a day but I still need to go about my daily life and need sleep so…

Anyway, it’s been quite a while since I last sit through and finished a Japanese drama. It’s just so hard to find a good one and something which suits me. I would actually love to recommend this to anyone who love romance drama – though not the sizzling kind, but it’s sweet and addictive ❤

Basically, Misaki just got fired from her job as a patissier. By chance, her first love Chiaki, invited her to work with him after tasting her cake.

She follows him back to the restaurant (out of Tokyo) and stays there together with him and his two brothers, Kanata and Touma.

Kanata, the chef at the restaurant is lukewarm to Misaki’s recruitment as he is aware that one of the reason she came down was because Chiaki invited her and she wanted to fall in love that summer.

They started on bad terms but slowly start to work together.

And I’m pretty sure everyone knows what will happen. It sounds typical enough, but I love the way the story flows and the drama as a whole. There’s always something special in Japanese drama which you can’t really find in Kdramas or Cdramas. I’m not sure how to describe it.

I absolutely love the three brothers – how all of them are distinctly different but all of them are just as sweet.

Yamazaki Kento who plays Kanata is amazing and I get it why he’s so popular. I didn’t really feel it that much when I watched his recent film Wolf Girl and Black Prince, but I totally feel his charm in this drama.

Somehow with every scene which has him in it, every little movement or facial expressions he makes is just pure gold. I’m totally watching out for him now! His smile is so charming, and everything about him in the drama gives me butterflies.

Okay – I need to stop fangirling.

But I really mean it that the drama is great and his acting was splendid ❤ Ahh ahh~ why does it have to end~~ vlcsnap-2017-01-17-00h11m48s562

  1. I totally agree what you say about Japanese dramas. They always have a special something that I cannot usually find in Korean dramas. But it is so hard to find one that suits me. I feel like its easier for me to like anime rather than Japanese dramas. This one is totally adorable though. Its managed to get me excited about a Japanese drama after quite a few disappointing ones. Are there any more you could recommend? I liked this one and I have also loved Nodame Cantabile and Liar Game.
