I know it’s been a while since I last talked about kdramas but I’m back with a short discussion on Missing Nine~ Initially, I didn’t plan to write about it because the drama felt average to me, but the recent 2 episodes made me interested, so here I am.
The post will contain spoilers.

I found a gem! I was randomly browsing looking for something to watch and somehow I decided to watch Suki na Hito ga Iru Koto (A Girl & Three Sweethearts) and it was a great decision!
I loved the drama so much ❤ There’s 10 episodes and I finished it in 2 days. I would have probably finished it in a day but I still need to go about my daily life and need sleep so…
Anyway, it’s been quite a while since I last sit through and finished a Japanese drama. It’s just so hard to find a good one and something which suits me. I would actually love to recommend this to anyone who love romance drama – though not the sizzling kind, but it’s sweet and addictive ❤

And it’s time to say goodbye to Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo!!! I’m so going to miss this so much.
It’s been such a long time since I’ve last watched a really good youth drama. Everything about the drama screams PERFECT to me. I loved every single thing about the drama! Given that in recent years, most dramas will have a certain degree of angst included, but this drama does not have any heavy angst and yet managed to be addictive and compelling to watch.
There’s a lot of youth dramas available but this really stands out the most to me right now because of how smooth the story actually flowed from beginning to the end. And not forgetting how each character totally owned their roles and no one stick out as a sore thumb.

Recently I’m having a lot of ‘feels’ for criminal dramas. I’ve recently finished Dr Qin Medical Examiner and I’m currently watching Memory Lost. My latest addition is Evil Minds and I’m currently watching the second second now.
I think it’s a good time to actually write a short review on it.
I wouldn’t say Evil Minds is a must watch. It’s interesting but can also get boring and draggy at times. It seems like the drama aims to show crimes and the psychological state of the criminals as well as Fa Mu, the profiler who aims to find the killer. He works together with Tai Wei, a detective who sort of have a quick temper.
Personally, I do find some of the crimes interesting. However, I get bored occasionally at certain episodes when there is little progress to the story. Part of me actually wishes that there are more individual murders which they crack rather than a string of murders which are related and lasts a few episodes or maybe even the entire season 2 (?) before the criminal is found.
But anyway, I guess it’s still pretty decent since I’m still watching it. Or maybe I’m watching it just for Tai Wei. Hah. ❤
I’m still itching for a good crime or mystery drama, please let me know if you have any good ones to recommend 🙂
note: i’ve watched love me if you dare and when a snail falls in love.
I was looking for an anime to watch and came across Ao Haru Ride which had a lot of positive reviews and I’m glad I did. I got hooked pretty quickly and finished the 12 episodes within a day.
As the anime only covers up to volume 4 of the manga (there are total 13 volumes), I decided to read up the manga as well and also check out the live adaption film.
I have different reviews for the anime, manga and the movie. My personal favorite is the anime. If I were to judge the anime solely on its own, I would say it is one of the best anime I’ve watched thus far. However, I wouldn’t say the same thing for the movie and I have mixed feelings about the manga.

1 – Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo
2 – Oh My Geum Bi
3 – Romantic Doctor
4 – Goblin
5 – Solomon’s Perjury
I just started on Solomon’s Perjury and have yet to watch Night Light. Legend of the Blue Sea was dropped. My current addiction is obviously the first four on the list. All of them are great dramas. Goblin is still considered pretty new so I’m not sure if it could be considered in the safe zone yet. We never know what will happen with dramas.
Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo is a gem. I miss youth dramas and this one hits all the right spots! It’s probably one of the best youth dramas I’ve ever watched so far. Oh My Geum Bi is also really good but I need to prepare myself for the upcoming tears. Might not be everyone’s cup of tea but it’s really a good drama. Romantic Doctor is good too! I love them medical dramas and it’s not as politically focused as most medical dramas. I think it has a good balance of medical scenes, romantic scenes and political scenes.
That’s about it right now. Probably will check Hwarang out soon. Happy Holidays everyone! Merry Christmas! ❤
I know this is pretty random – but I just thought it would be okay to post this here. A random post on Boracay 2016 and the rough estimate of the cost and my experience! Good things are meant to be shared!
My travel period was from 4 Dec 2016 – 8 Dec 2016. It was a 4D3N trip and I was travelling from Singapore with a friend. My total cost incurred was about SGD810, including flights and hotel. Flight + Hotel were paid beforehand. I changed SGD 350 for all expenses there. (rate was 34.6; changed at raffles place)
I was travelling with 4 other people – but staying in a hotel with only 1 of them.

This is so good! I didn’t really had any plans to watch this but I read some positive reviews on it so I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did.
Basically it’s about Geum Bi who goes to find her dad after her Aunt leaves her on her own. It’s her first time seeing her dad, and Hwi Chul has no idea who’s Geum Bi or who her mother is.
The story seems simple enough – irresponsible parents and Geum Bi, a smart child, who will be diagnosed with dementia later on.
Part of the reason why I didn’t want to watch this was because its inevitable that it would make me shed a lot of tears – and I’m already regretting my decision but I guess shedding tears for a good drama is a good thing. No Pain No Gain.

I didn’t have much expectations for this, but YAY! I found the first two episodes refreshing and fun! Kim Bok Joo and friends are adorable and cute. Most of the casts are familiar, but fresh faces.
They have your typical school-bullying dynamics, but it’s not too intense in any way. At least our female lead has the physical strength. Lee Sung Kyung is doing an amazing job actually.
I just find the whole drama really warm and cute and it feels like it’s been quite a while since the last youth drama, so this is nice for a change. And Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung has some really cute chemistry!!!
But my most favorite is the three friends. GOSH they are so cute!!! Do you like Messi?
Will be looking forward for more ❤
Finally? The trailers looked wacky and I was excited for this but….the first two episodes did not match my expectations.
I’m not sure how to describe the drama so far, but I found it boring and a little unfocused? First of all the historical portion is confusing. I know that it’s supposed to be something like a “reflection” of the present, how in the past, a mermaid and a human know each other and fell in love and created a bond.
However, I find that having that small portion in the two episodes was confusing and made us shift focus back and forth. I just thought that it might have been more effective if they showed all of the historical portions in the first episode followed by present time.
