There’s a new drama on the Mon-Tue timeslot, Witch’s Court, and it seems promising! I’ve been in a drama slump for quite some time 😦 There hasn’t been anything really good lately.
Anyway, Witch’s Court is about Ma Yi Deum, a prosecutor who resorts to tricks to win cases. Before we get there, we get a short portion where we see a younger Ma Yi Deum with her mother. Her dream was to be a doctor. However, one day her mother went missing and we get a time jump where she is now a prosecutor.

This is so good! I didn’t really had any plans to watch this but I read some positive reviews on it so I decided to give it a try and I’m glad I did.
Basically it’s about Geum Bi who goes to find her dad after her Aunt leaves her on her own. It’s her first time seeing her dad, and Hwi Chul has no idea who’s Geum Bi or who her mother is.
The story seems simple enough – irresponsible parents and Geum Bi, a smart child, who will be diagnosed with dementia later on.
Part of the reason why I didn’t want to watch this was because its inevitable that it would make me shed a lot of tears – and I’m already regretting my decision but I guess shedding tears for a good drama is a good thing. No Pain No Gain.

I didn’t have much expectations for this, but YAY! I found the first two episodes refreshing and fun! Kim Bok Joo and friends are adorable and cute. Most of the casts are familiar, but fresh faces.
They have your typical school-bullying dynamics, but it’s not too intense in any way. At least our female lead has the physical strength. Lee Sung Kyung is doing an amazing job actually.
I just find the whole drama really warm and cute and it feels like it’s been quite a while since the last youth drama, so this is nice for a change. And Nam Joo Hyuk and Lee Sung Kyung has some really cute chemistry!!!
But my most favorite is the three friends. GOSH they are so cute!!! Do you like Messi?
Will be looking forward for more ❤
Finally? The trailers looked wacky and I was excited for this but….the first two episodes did not match my expectations.
I’m not sure how to describe the drama so far, but I found it boring and a little unfocused? First of all the historical portion is confusing. I know that it’s supposed to be something like a “reflection” of the present, how in the past, a mermaid and a human know each other and fell in love and created a bond.
However, I find that having that small portion in the two episodes was confusing and made us shift focus back and forth. I just thought that it might have been more effective if they showed all of the historical portions in the first episode followed by present time.

Yes! Finally something to watch on Mon-Tue. I’m not watching any of the other Mon-Tue dramas and I’m glad that at least Romantic Doctor suits me.
I’m not sure how to review this yet – but I did liked the first four episodes. However, I find that medical dramas are hard to classify them too early because usually they either turn too politically centered, or too romantically centered.
However, for the first four episodes, I would say it’s balanced quite well. I do love the medical scenes and found it sufficient.
I’ve got to say that the romance moved at super speed. I was taken aback for sure, but I guess its not such a bad thing after all. Now we could skip all the initial love stages in most dramas, and focus more on story.
I love the characters and how they are so different from each other. And I love the whole mystery surrounding Master Kim and the usual question – the best or a good doctor?
Don’t disappoint drama!
I was excited when I heard that they will be doing something similar to “Let’s Eat” but shifting it to drinks instead. I actually adored Let’s Eat and even though I don’t drink, I think having a drama about characters enjoying drinking is refreshing for a change!
I loved the first two episodes. Most of the characters have been introduced and I love the different and quirky characters! There’s a good sense of humor and the drama seems promising as a whole.
Nope – we don’t have ‘commercial moments’ of characters downing drinks like how Let’s Eat did with all the food. Instead the moment is shown usually at the end of the day, when the characters are resting and having their own “me” time. Sweet.

The much awaited drama, Scarlet Heart Ryeo, finally aired and I’m…. not liking it. There are a few different reasons why I didn’t like it and I won’t deny that I’m probably a little bias towards it since it is after all an adaptation of popular Chinese drama, Bu Bu Jing Xin. I think they did mention they were using the novel and not the drama – but either way, the novel and the Chinese drama is pretty similar.
First of all, way before the drama aired, I was already worried due to the casts. Sure, it’s great eye candy – but whether the actors have the capabilities to bring out the individual roles is a different thing.
It’s impossible for me not to compare Scarlet Heart Ryeo with Bu Bu Jing Xin. As much as I try to, I cannot help it. So I’m pretty sure people get annoyed at me trying to pinpoint all the things Scarlet Heart Ryeo didn’t manage to get right, but that’s okay. I understand and even I think I might sound a little overbearing when discussing about this drama.

I was excited when I saw the teasers and it reminded me of God’s Gift 14 Days which was awesome until the really unfortunate bad ending.
I actually had high expectations for Wanted but I was considerably bored throughout the two episodes. It was nothing like what I had expected.
Of course this is just my own opinion, I think some actually do think it’s good. It doesn’t really work for me though – due to various reasons which I will explain in further detail.

YESSSSSS! Beautiful Mind was awesome!
I was looking forward for this and the drama certainly exceeded my expectation! It was such an awesome first two episodes!
A murder – and conspiracy in a hospital. How interesting.
All the characters stood out in just these two episodes, even those supporting ones. I’m already sold and can’t wait for more episodes. Bring it on drama!
If I had time, I would totally do recaps for this but sadly I don’t have much spare time to do recaps 😦 I’m pretty sure such a great drama will have someone recapping it 🙂 But I did write up a short summary for the two episodes!

I was initially reluctant to start on Dear My Friends – because first of all, the casts are mostly older ladies and I assumed the drama wouldn’t be worth watching.
I was dead wrong.
I watched the first episode out of curiosity and now I’m here after watching Episode 6 and this has got to be one of the nicest, meaningful drama I’ve watched in recent years.
Dramas are evolving so much. With the recent drama Memory which just ended and now Dear My Friends, I’m honestly surprised by all these new dramas which seriously tug at the heartstrings.
