SERIES REVIEW: Memory

vlcsnap-2016-05-09-22h02m15s728It’s sad to say goodbye but TvN’s Memory has ended 😦

It seems that not many people actually watch the drama which is kind of surprising because it was a really great series and I loved every episode. Perhaps because the overall tone of the drama is a little moody, I guess it’s not really everyone’s cup of tea.

For me personally, there’s totally nothing for me to hate. I found every single episode enjoyable and as I watched the series, it leaves me a bittersweet feeling.

I will write up a short summary on the drama and my own reviews on it. It will contain spoilers.

POV DISCUSSION: TvN Basketball

I found the perfect drama to finish up my weekly drama fix. Every week, we have dramas with various genres, rom-com, medical drama, youth melo, rom-melo-suspense, nostalgic rom-com, and now we have the classic “period drama” on sports and romance.

This drama…is… AWESOME.

Do Ji Han portrays Kang San really well, and I love his character so much 🙂 The other actors in the drama were pretty mediocre, mainly because they’re pretty new. We just have to bear the awkward expressions on their faces. However, Do Ji Han makes up for all the other flaws, because he’s really just awesome.

Just two episodes, and I feel like we’re getting very interesting characters already. The baddies are all the oldies, and the young people are all interesting characters. I’m already hoping for 2-3 lovelines to form and I just hope my wishes come true. Hahahaha. Though, I don’t really bet on it.

The funniest part of this drama? Jo Hee Bung plays various characters in the drama, which is really funny, in a way. His characters aren’t funny though.

Anyway, Basketball is off to a good start with me, because I’m already head over heels with it.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Who Are You

Okay, people. I’ve watched the first two episodes of TvN’s Who Are You and it’s COOOOLLLL. HAHA. I meant I like it a lot. It was a good first two episodes, but I’m not sure yet how it will turn out in the later episodes.

The first episode was pretty creepy but interesting. So we have Yang Shi On who wakes up from a 6 year coma and is able to see ghosts. 6 years ago, she was with her boyfriend, Lee Hyung Joon who had secretly raided a ship and was killed by someone (I shall name this person X). Shi On saw him being killed, but she didn’t saw the murderer. However, there’s a high chance that X is probably someone Lee Hyung Joon knows because he looked shocked before he died.

We also have Cha Gun Woo, an officer in the same department (Loss & Found) as Shi On, who is hmmm. I don’t know how to describe his character. He’s supposed to be hot-tempered, but I guess…something is off somewhere. We also have Im Sung Chan, another officer in the department (pretty eye candy. Heh.)
