Special SHOUT-OUT to: Potato Star 2013QR3

I absolutely love this sitcom, and I just can’t get enough of it. I can’t do a recap for it, or a discussion for each episode because it’s slated for ~120 episodes. I can’t commit to that. However, I can do special shout-out for it from time to time occasionally. I honestly think that this is a great sitcom, and is good for laugh – and manages to be sweet as well. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for something light, and easy for a fun watch.

The last k-sitcom I ever watch was Unstoppable Marriage – which I picked up because of FT Island’s Lee Jaejin, but I didn’t even manage to watch more than 10 episodes, because it was really difficult to find the videos, and subs was only up till episode 5 or 7? At that point of time, I didn’t understand much Korean. I got better by the years. Thankfully though, Potato Star 2013QR3 is subbed 🙂 Even if the subs stop coming, I can understand Korean better now.

For this special shout-out, I’ll give a brief run-through on the different unique characters the sitcom has.

POV DISCUSSION: Potato Star 2013QR3

TvN’s new sitcom, Potato Star 2013QR3 is so damn good. Well, to me at least. It’s so funny and easy to watch, and I’m liking the characters a lot. So interesting.

The best thing about it? Being a sitcom. I can’t imagine watching a 120-episode drama on family and etc. It will be so makjang and tiring. It feels like a drama, but it is so light-hearted, because it’s funny. I swear each of the characters have their own colours and is fun to watch.

If you’re looking for something fun to watch and have time, you should give this sitcom a try.
