FIRST IMPRESSION: Hyde, Jekyll, Me Episode 1 & 2

Hyde, Jekyll, Me has aired the first two episodes and it got mixed reactions from viewers. I know that people can’t help but to compare it with Kill Me Heal Me (KMHM), and yes – I’m guilty of comparing them too.

You can’t help but compare when two currently airing dramas have a male lead with the same disorder. I’m just going to be guilty of comparing them now after watching 2 episodes. But going forward, I’m not going to compare them anymore.

Personally, I didn’t think the first two episodes were that engaging. It’s not exactly boring, but it’s not that exciting either. I feel like I’m in between and unsure if the drama will remain that way, or will pick up in intensity.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Kill Me Heal Me Episode 1 & 2

Kill Me Heal Me has aired the first two episodes and I love it!!! Actually I was worried because the whole plot sounds like it could be a mess – I mean the male lead has 7 different personalities – but I loved the first two episodes 🙂

Of course, the main reason I’m watching this is because it’s Ji Sung! And his leading lady is Hwang Jung Eum. They had super hot fantastic chemistry during Secret Love, and I can’t wait to see the on-screen chemistry again. And we also have Park Seo Joon!

I’m going to write up a discussion and first impression post – not exactly a recap, but it would contain spoilers.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Pinocchio Episode 1 & 2

Alright. I just finished watching Pinocchio, and it’s actually much better than I expected, which is a good thing. I heard that there was a back-story, and I was really reluctant to watch it because I’m just generally tired to watching dramas with childhood portions. However, the back-story was way better than I expected, and its the best part for me.

POV DISCUSSION: Pride and Prejudice Episode 1 & 2 (Korean Drama)

NEW FOUND LOVE!!! I was excited for K-drama Pride & Prejudice, but I never expected it to be anything like this, or this good. The first two episodes totally blew me away and I just want Monday to quickly come right now.

The description for the drama was very general, and pretty vague, so I didn’t know what to expect from it – and I’m totally surprised that it’s much better than whatever I expected. I love all the casts – and it’s a total blessing for me to have Choi Jin Hyuk, Lee Tae Hwan, Choi Woo Shik and even Choi Min Soo all in one drama. AND I LOVE BAEK JIN HEE!

I’m not going to do recaps for the first two episodes, not sure if I will be doing any recaps – but I do hope someone will do them!!! I’ll just post some screencaps and do a short discussion~

FIRST IMPRESSION: Liar Game Episode 1 & 2

I’ve watched Liar Game, which is a manga adaption and I love it!!!

I didn’t watch the Japanese drama, but it is said that this adaption follows more towards the manga and not the Japanese drama. I always wanted to watch the Japanese drama, but never really started it, but maybe after finishing the Korean one, I might try watching the Japanese one.

Okay – first thing first. I never knew Lee Sang Yoon could be so charming and charismatic. He is practically overflowing with so much charisma, I am shocked, yet very happy. I’ve seen him in other dramas, but his roles never really stuck in my head for long, but THIS, I am blown away.

I’m just going to do a short summary, and those who watched the Jap drama or read the manga, no spoilers please, Thank You 🙂

FIRST IMPRESSION: Surplus Princess Episode 1

Another new drama, airing every Thursday, we have Surplus Princess – which is about a mermaid who wants to become human.

The first episode, was more comical than I expected – with English thrown here and there, and a little bit of animation. It’s kind of cool, in a way, and it was fun. I’m sad again because it only airs once a week 😦 It’s an 11pm slot drama – so expect a little bit more mature stuff.

I thought the first episode was pretty good – we were introduced to the main characters, a few mystery here and there and Lee Hyun Myung is so cute 🙂

POV DISCUSSION: High School Love On Episode 1

A new Friday drama aired yesterday, and it’s High School Love On – starring Kim Sae Ron and boy band Infinite members Woo Hyun & Sung Yeol. It’s about an angel who became human, after saving a male student.

The story sounds interesting enough for me to actually try it out, and of course the main factor is that it’s Kim Sae Ron! The first episode wasn’t excellent, but I would say it’s good enough – if you look pass the acting.

Personally, I felt that it would have been much more enjoyable if the casts (excluding Kim Sae Ron) were more experienced in acting, and that the episode wasn’t so choppy.

I’m just going to do a brief scene summary – not exactly a recap, followed by a discussion.

POV DISCUSSION: Marriage Not Dating Episode 1 & 2

Okay people, let me cry my eyes out. It’s really the drama season right now :’) Almost all of the newly airing dramas are so much fun to watch. It’s such a big contrast compared to the all the dramas which started airing sometime back. It’s as though everything was average, and nothing was fantastic. Now, there’s so much fantastic stuff going on and I cannot control all my excitement.

I’ve watched the first two episodes of Marriage Not Dating, and it’s so much fun and full of awesomeness.

I didn’t expect so much heart in the drama, given that it’s a romantic comedy, I thought it would be the typical rom-com, but at the end of the second episode, I was just amazed at how the episode ended, because it was sort of sweet and warm. It’s kind of difficult to put it in words, but I think this is going to be an awesome ride.

FIRST IMPRESSION: Endless Love Episode 1

I finally watched the first episode, and unlike what I expected, it’s slightly better. I was all prepared for the usual over-the-top plots and fighting, which usually comes along as a set with such genres, but it’s not as bad as I thought it would be.

I think the first episode pretty much sum up everything for us, and I’m actually quite surprised myself that in just one episode, I love the relationship between Seo In Ae and Han Kwang Chul.

The first 5 minutes of the drama was pretty intense, and because the drama would probably get more intense and full of angst, I would probably stick to watching one episode per day.

POV DISCUSSION: High School King Of Savvy Episode 1 & 2

Okay, time to talk about High School King Of Savvy. I LOVE THIS. It might be a little too early to say, but TvN hardly disappoint me, and I kind of like what they always offer, so I’m hoping this would be the same.

The characters are so wacky, it’s an instant win for me. First of all – it’s funny. Second, the characters are funny. Third – it’s sweet. Fourth – JUST WATCH IT ALREADY.

Personally, I’m quite indifferent to all the actors in the drama. I know them, and I’ve watched their previous dramas, but I’m not an avid fan. Of course, it doesn’t mean I don’t like them. It’s just I don’t fangirl over them, so I wasn’t even expecting much from the drama. It sounded interesting, that’s why I decided to pick it up.

But BOY OH BOY, It’s so enjoyable.
